Our Resource Economics Laboratory helps you to make sense of the financial side of natural resource management. Our services include the Inland Log Market Report updated quarterly, econometric modeling services, forecasting services, resource valuation appraisals, and related services. We offer complete integration of these services with our Resource Inventory Lab, Environmental Planning Center, and landowner assistance programs. In addition, we assist our private landowner clientele with the complex issue of forestland taxes and estate planning.

Vincent P. Corrao is the President of Northwest Management and was the founder of the Inland Log Market Report which is celebrating 20 years of continuous log market reporting provided to our clientele free of charge in our Quarterly Newsletter and now on our Internet Web Site. In addition to being a RAB Certified Auditor, Mr. Corrao specializes in log marketing services for our clients and offers a long history of marketing expertise.

Vaiden Bloch, M.S., has extensive experience in resource appraisals. He has led many projects involving land and resource valuation, analysis, and precision data collection. He is a skilled instructor capable of making the difficult topic understandable.

Thomas Richards has been the lead silviculturist for Northwest Management, Inc. since 1986.  His responsibilities include project management and technical content of silviculture, forest inventory, and growth and yield projects. Tom contributes to the company's educational offerings through extensive experience with forest inventory and its modeling on computer aided forest growth models used in valuations.

Gregory A. Bassler is involved on a day-to-day basis with the management of private and industrial forest lands. Mr. Bassler provides leadership at Northwest Management for the marketing of log and other forest products in Idaho, Washington, and Montana. Mr. Bassler is also responsible for the continuous updating of the Inland Log Market Report.
