Bob Carlson has been a professional forester for the Northwest Management, Inc. Deer Park, Washington office since October 2006. Mr. Carlson is involved in project administration and road layout, design, and transportation systems. He is also responsible for training and guiding staff in road layout and design. Other Natural Resource responsibilities include GIS Mapping and implementing contracts.
Previous Experience:
Mr. Carlson's previous experience includes 10 years as Stimson Lumber Company's inventory & acquisition manager where he was responsible for managing Stimson's timberland inventory program, acquisition and sale program, and GIS program throughout the Inland region. Prior to that, Mr. Carlson worked for Stimson's predecessor Plum Creek Timber Company for 12 years as a senior forester responsible for managing all activities on 40,000 acres.
Mr. Carlson also worked for 8 years for Timberland and Burlington Northern Inc. as supervisor of engineering and access with responsibility for all logging road layout, design, and construction, acquiring legal access to all company lands, and the road maintenance program.
