Karl W. Radcliffe
Career Summary:
Karl Radcliffe has been employed at Northwest Management, Inc. since July 2000. He assists the fire and fuels manager with various fuels and fire management activities including preparing fire equipment for use. Mr. Radcliffe has served as crew boss, engine boss, ignition boss, heli-base manager on Northwest Management, Inc. prescribed burns as well as wildland fires. He is responsible for training crewmembers working with and around equipment including training concerning safe use of equipment. He has conducted employee safety meetings. As equipment manager, Mr. Radcliffe oversees the tag out system for non-operational or unsafe equipment. He is responsible for DOT, HZMAT, USFS, State, Federal Safety and EMS requirements for all company equipment.
Mr. Radcliffe has also performed field forestry activities including line running, timber marking, and GPS data collection.
